Hello! I'm considering two models: Levenhuk D50L NG and D320L. So I have a few questions about their technical characteristics. The microscope stage must (it is really important!) move along both the x and y axes. Does it? I want images to be continuously transferred to my PC, and I'm gonna capture them with my PC, rather than with camera. Is it so? I also have questions about cameras. Are they included in the package at the specified price? And one last question about their magnification. For example, 4x objective + 10x eyepiece = 40x (minimum magnification); 100x objective + 16x eyepiece = 1600x (maximum magnification). Only one of these two models, Levenhuk D320L, is equipped with a stage that moves along both the X and Y axes. Levenhuk D50L NG has 2 Mpx camera, and D320L - 3 Mpx one. Camera displays images on a PC monitor; it is controlled from the computer (using special software). Yes, cameras are included in the kit with these microscope models. For the Levenhuk D320 model the minimum magnification will be 40x and maximum - 1000x.

You can study bacteria with Levenhuk D320L, but staining is required. There are 3 or 4 viruses, which can be observed using regular microscopes (Levenhuk D320L including), but the rest 99.9% of viruses can be observed with electron microscopes only.

Wonderful microscope! The camera is very good! It's not like the one shown on pictures, it is rectangular. The produced images are great (color and black-and-white). We don't use the eyepiece at all - everything is greatly seen on the monitor. We also record videos - good as well. It's a big advantage that it's really easy to maintain this microscope (to clean lenses, replace illumination etc.) - we haven't done it yet - just checked how things work.
