I found the info that to get the magnification I need to divide objective lens focal length by matrix diagonal. HI! I purchased this telescope two month ago. It's not bad! Since then i've already observed a few objects. However, when watching Jupiter , I was puzzled by how "See it all!" astronomer handbook shows the pic. of Jupiter taken with a small telescope - it's very detailed photo about 1 in. in diameter. The smallest image is shown pea-sized. But when I was looking through the eyepiece, i was pretty sure that was Venus. And, if not for the obvious four satellites, I would still think it was Venus. The thing is that through the telescope Jupiter is only a 2 - 3 mm dot , but through the "Super 10 " lens it's about 4 - 5mm. Tell me please, what does it depend on?
